the more you rest, the more you receive

What belongs to you will come to you.

This may be challenging to believe with our logical minds because, of course, we have to show up as our authentic selves and put in the work. But that’s just it—when we operate from a place of truth, the people, opportunities, and desires meant for us naturally flow into our lives. Why would something so precious be handed over to be misused or mishandled? Timing is everything. There is a perfect moment for every blessing to enter your reality, and your only responsibility is to be open, aligned, and ready to receive.

However, let’s be clear—this world has conditioned us to believe that our worth is tied to what we produce, how much we hustle, and how tirelessly we work. But to think that the material world holds more value than you, a divine being, is absurd.

We are witnessing a shift. More and more individuals are choosing themselves, rising in their authenticity, and aligning deeply with their values, standards, and boundaries. We are awakening to our power and strength. It’s a beautiful sight to see in myself and others.

Surrender & Flow

The more you surrender to the transitions and changes that life brings, the more you become like water—fluid, adaptable, and able to flow into new spaces with grace. This isn’t about limitation, but evolution. Just as water effortlessly takes the shape of any container, we, too, must embrace the fluidity required to navigate life’s seasons. We’re in this for the long haul—or the short haul—depending on when our time here is up.

Yes, you have power. Your skills, talents, and knowledge are tools you can use to create a life that reflects your essence. But at the core of it all, you are here for a reason, and you are being guided every step of the way. Frustration is natural. Feeling stuck is apart of the human experience. But just like water, you are meant to flow through these emotions, not be consumed by them.

Let it come. Let it go.

Rest As Your Birthright

Your reminder today is this: rest more. Reconnect with yourself. Do something that nourishes you—try a new hobby, learn a language, discover a hidden café, take yourself on a date, travel to a new country, or spend time with loved ones. This world is already demanding enough. The more you embrace rest, the more space you create to receive—sometimes in the most unexpected and beautiful ways.

If you’ve been stuck in survival mode, on edge, feeling like there’s never enough time to do all that you desire, I invite you to pause. Breathe. Grab a journal and ask yourself:

  • Can I control what I am worried about?

  • How can I create more room for rest and ease in my life?

  • What activities ground me and help me be more present?

Your answers may surprise you. Give yourself permission to reflect, process, and bring your soul back to a place of deep rest.

Now tell me—how are you choosing to rest? Let’s talk in the comments.
